Springer returns to Johnstone Strait – August 17th 2002

After nearly 3 weeks away from Johnstone Strait, A73 (Springer) has returned with the A4s! She entered Johnstone Strait at around 11am, with part of the A11s (her aunt and cousins). There are quite a few orcas in the Johnstone Strait area today and A73 was right in the middle of a large group, that included the A12s, A5s, and A4s. They were last seen heading down to the east, after slipping into the rubbing beaches for a quick rub.

We are all very happy to see A73 back in the area and traveling along side her family!
